#4 Most Innovative Church in America!
According to Zondervan and Outreach Magazine, Flamingo Road Church has been named #4 of the Top 25 Most Innovative Churches in America! Not exactly sure what that means, but that's good, right? It shows that our Pastor and church know how to think "outside-the-box" to reach our communities and make an impact for Christ. It means never being content with the accomplishments of yesterday or today and always looking forward. "Creativity" and "Innovention" are two of our Ethos. It is leveraging our resources, talents, people and creativity to discover and develop new and unique ways to share the gospel and change lives.

Here is a list of the Top 10 Innovative Churches:

EVANGELISM SEMINARY GEAR, Thursdays 7-10pm.

Members of Flamingo Road Church have a unique opportunity to take college accredited courses right at Flamingo Cooper City Campus. Flamingo Road, in partnership with New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, offers courses throughout the year. The latest course in the Seminary program is Evangelism. Although this 5 week course started last Thursday, you can still register for credit by attending next Thursday. The course is designed to provide a study of the biblical basis of evangelism, to know and understand the different church programs on evangelism, and to develop personal witnessing skills (special emphasis will be spent on developing personal witnessing skills and sharing Jesus without fear).

What a joy and privilege it is to have Dr. David Lema teaching at Flamingo. He has a quick mind and easy teaching style with wonderful stories and personal insights. Evangelism is not for professionals. It is something that everyone can do. In fact, we are ALL called to evangelize. Evangelism is not inviting friends and neighbors to church (although that is a good thing). It is sharing the Good News. God is less concerned about the number of people we win than the number of times we share the gospel. Our job is to share. God does the rest. I am grateful to belong to a church that places the call to evangelize in such high regard. After all, it is called the Great Commission for a reason.
